In addition to her work as a lawyer in the field of capital markets and investment law, Ms. Treitschke is responsible within our law firm for public relations. She is contact person for the press, publishing companies and marketing. Moreover, Ms. Treitschke takes care of the law firm’s knowledge management.     

Curriculum Vitae

Vera Treitschke, LL.M., born in 1975, studied law in Saarbrucken and Kopenhagen (Denmark). After her academic studies she worked as an intern in the business department of the German embassy in Pretoria (South Africa) for several months, before doing her legal clerkship in Oldenburg, Bremen and Madrid (Spain). Having finished her clerkship successfully she graduated with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in European law from the University of Lund (Sweden). Ms. Treitschke has been admitted to the legal profession since 2004. At first she worked as a lawyer for copyright and media law and as an online editor for a large international publishing company. Since the middle of 2007 Ms. Treitschke has been working as a salaried lawyer for mzs lawyers and since May 2008 additionally as the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Banking Law and Banking (JBB) (Zeitschrift für Bankrecht und Bankwirtschaft – ZBB).
